Lovely hotel, was accommodated really well by the manager of the property Manuel, and I felt so safe throughout. Additionally, it's easily walkable to the metro, bus stops and other places.

Very clean The room is also clean and beds are comfortable Hosts are HELPFUL THE BREAKFAST is nutritional and beads are freshly made. The neighborhood has markets to buy what you need, pharmacies, restaurants and more Bull fighting arena is opposite to the hotel but beign used for other events

Great little bed and breakfast in the big city

Nice place with very nice and helpful staff. My partner and I had no issues whatsoever staying here and both enjoyed it a lot. Location we also though was an excellent compromise between distance to activities and a more relaxing atmosphere.

Super friendly and informative staff, super comfy bed, very nice facilities. The shared bathrooms were neat and clean. We weren’t able to get breakfast, as we had a flight to catch, but the common areas and kitchen/dining areas were really well appointed, comfortable and pleasant!

Great place to stay. Host was super communicative before we got there with all the info to get inside. Room was simple but all we needed. Had A/C and a cute balcony. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for 2 people. The shared bathrooms were not an issue at all. Breakfast in the morning was great!

This was in an excellent and safe location for getting anywhere in the city, and Manuel shared all the necessary stops in town. The bus for the airport and the metro for Old Town were steps away from the front door. The rooms were spacious, clean, and relaxing. The breakfast and host Anna were exceptional. And it was no problem sharing access to the bathroom with the other rooms. We highly recommend Republica and would love to visit again!

We stayed just one night before travelling to Lagos. Breakfast great, ample selection and tasty. Would have preferred for it to be available before 8am. We were worried about the shared bathroom, but it was not an issue.

I seldom leave reviews, but the stay here compelled me to do so. From get go, Manuel and his team of Anna and Divya were on pint for instructikns. Check in was smooth and easy. The space is spotless, clean linens and spacious licing room. Just book it. Period.

I cannot speak more highly of this accomodation. Manuel’s communication was perfect and the staff were more than obliging. The shared spaces were immaculate, the rooms are a great size and the breakfast was great. Location is perfect as the stay is directly opposite the Metro line which made exploring Lisbon incredibly easy.

My first stay at a place with shared bathrooms in over 35 years and the bathrooms became a non- issue. At least one of the three was always available with only seven or eight people sharing the three. The breakfast was good and plentiful. It was fun speaking with people of all ages from Eorope and Asia. The staff is excellent and keep everything immaculate!
