"What a wonderful stay! Both our hosts Steve and Chet were super helpful and friendly and made us feel completely relaxed. The old house has so much character, and the gardens were a real drawcard too. The house isn’t right in the city centre, but it is so easy to get around and everything is very close. We loved the quiet location with easy parking. It only took as a few minutes to get into the CBD. Steve and Chet have gone to a lot of effort with providing a map with all the highlights marked on it and even have further information such as restaurant and cafe recommendations on their website. The whole stay with them was great. I’d go back again in a heartbeat. It feels like visiting old friends, except that friends don’t go to this much effort to serve you such a great breakfast 😁"

"The infomation in the folder for shops etc was for a Barbadoes Street property not King Street..... Rooms and linen clean, only 1 tea towel. Loved having face flannels. The house was warm and with the double glazing surprisingly quiet - great. We did not need to use the heater at all though it was very cold outside. Thank you we would recommend this property."
