"The room was spacious , and had good quality bathroom and fixing , nice coffee and tea bench and good heating . We were happy with what we paid for the secure room . A restaurant was only 30 yards away if you wanted drinks or food . "

"Incredibly helpful and friendly staff, great location, family friendly. Would absolutely recommend. One thing to note: if you're going to have a vehicle with you, book a parking spot at the hotel when you book your room, there's limited parking. Although there's ample street parking as well as many car parks all around the hotel and downtown core. "

"What a wonderful stay! Both our hosts Steve and Chet were super helpful and friendly and made us feel completely relaxed. The old house has so much character, and the gardens were a real drawcard too. The house isn’t right in the city centre, but it is so easy to get around and everything is very close. We loved the quiet location with easy parking. It only took as a few minutes to get into the CBD. Steve and Chet have gone to a lot of effort with providing a map with all the highlights marked on it and even have further information such as restaurant and cafe recommendations on their website. The whole stay with them was great. I’d go back again in a heartbeat. It feels like visiting old friends, except that friends don’t go to this much effort to serve you such a great breakfast 😁"

"It's a quiet and peaceful stay, perfect for a short getaway, the room is spotless, also we got everything we needed there. Tim and his little helper, the Rottweiler are so friendly and enthusiastic. Overall is nice, would give them a 10 out of 10!"
