"We had a short but fun visit in Dyers house. I wish we could have stayed longer. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
The owners also told us about the Antarctic Center at Christchurch Airport which is definitely worth a visit."

"Hotel is extremely clean and staff amazing...super friendly and incredibly obliging. Great having kitchen facilities (we were there for 3 nights so it comes in handy having the use of utensils, wine glasses etc. Everything is quality...also great to be able to have Netflix. My only issue was (as we were there for 3 nights), it would've been nice to have a clearer view out of the windows instead into the wall of another building so that we could have our curtains open more.
If we'd asked they probably would've moved us...but hey, I didn't so my bag. We love the place and will definitely be staying again.

"What a wonderful stay! Both our hosts Steve and Chet were super helpful and friendly and made us feel completely relaxed. The old house has so much character, and the gardens were a real drawcard too.
The house isn’t right in the city centre, but it is so easy to get around and everything is very close. We loved the quiet location with easy parking. It only took as a few minutes to get into the CBD.
Steve and Chet have gone to a lot of effort with providing a map with all the highlights marked on it and even have further information such as restaurant and cafe recommendations on their website.
The whole stay with them was great. I’d go back again in a heartbeat.
It feels like visiting old friends, except that friends don’t go to this much effort to serve you such a great breakfast 😁"
