"We booked for 6 people but neither bed settee was made up. We eventually found some duvets and pillows but no clean sheets so opened a packet of new sheets we found in a room in the basement. The same with towels. The washing machine was on with a load of washing in it full of water. There was a pile of dirty bedding in a room in the basement. There were no instructions in the flat at all .The lights and other electrical systems were ridiculously complicated. Also no instructions about hot water...

"This was our first time visiting Germany and the house was as pictured. Our family of 8 fit comfortably. We had to ask for a few appliances that were listed in description (toaster and microwave) and the host responded promptly and dropped off the requested items. Top Oestrich-Winkel Hotel Reviews

Wald.Weit Rheingau Hotel und Retreat

10/10 Excellent

"Fabulous property. Cannot wait to go back!"

Hotel Villa Klemm - Wiesbaden City

8/10 Good

"Loved our room and the location of the hotel - close to everything and a nice neighborhood. Didn't have the opportunity to eat breakfast there but did get a chance to spend some time in the lovely terrace. Wished that the kitchen had a corkscrew available but we worked that out with a neighborhood restaurant."

Garner Hotel Mainz by IHG

8/10 Good

"Breakfast coffee choices and preserve choices are excellent. Food choices could be improved on: avoid canned fruits, use fresh fruit for yoghurt etc. Improve selection of cheeses and meet ( too much charcuterie- use ham and fish) Selection of hot items are particularly unhealthy ( saussages, beans, even scambled eggs out of the tube….; offer baked tomatoes, soft boiled eggs, baked mushrooms…)"
