"The common areas of the hotel is tired and not the best and the rooms dated. I had an issue with the heating that meant I had to go to the reception to "try and have fixed". They kept saying they had reset the system, however, it didn't work and as the phone in the room didn't dial through to the reception, it was freezing in the night. I would not stay there again."

"Roon was not cleaned. Still had dirty cups, hair on bathroom floor,old toothpaste in the sink and crisps crumbs all over the floor. Hot tub did not work but would not use as water was full of leaves If hadnt of arrived late I would have complained "

"The hotel overall was very clean and all the staff were pleasant and polite. The major problem lies firmly with the property owners, the place is just very tired. Paint is chipped and woodwork is damaged everywhere form outside the entrance through to the bathrooms in the room. Also there are connecting doors between rooms which is a very old idea but allows sound to to travel between the rooms as if the walls were missing. I would not stay here again unless the property was given a serious amount of maintenance."

"Well located and even though in motorway services. I stayed for four nights and the room was not cleaned once, even had to ask for more toilet paper. But, the room was comfortable and quiet. It was not clear at booking that the parking was £20, but not too bad for four days."

"Horrible Stay. The fire alarm went off 4 separate times from 6:15am - 6:30am ruining my sleep. If this was a Premier inn they would have refunded my stay under their Sleep guarentee. Holiday Inn did not do this, They didnt even have a manager contact me as requested. Instead they just sent me a stock email and credited my account with a fivers worth of points. Moral of the story. Dont stay here. Stay with a chain that cares about their guests sleep!"

"Hotel was very good, I was in room 119 and it was very spacious with a huge double shower bathroom. Staff were very helpful and food in restaurant was enjoyable."
