"A modern apartment block in an industrial area, extremely well set up with kitchen, laundry in apartment, good curtains and double glazing. Restaurant upstairs with friendly staff and huge meals. Lovely helpful receptionist with good English. Was a bit far away from shops, beaches and other restaurants, need to get taxis to theses places. But is at international airport end of town."

"Hotel Gondwana was centrally located in downtown Noumea. Perfect for getting to attractions like Port Moselle markets and shopping on Rue de Sebastopol. Also close to the main bus interchange for visiting further afield like the Zoological and Forest Park (Parc zoologique et forestier). The room was clean and comfortable and the courtyard was a nice, leafy retreat. The staff were friendly and helpful and able to converse in English. We had a great stay. Thanks."

"The room is really large, as is the balcony. The price we paid was very economical, so we felt we got what we paid for. The staff at the sports bar were particularly lovely! I think the pool surrounds should be updated - perhaps pave it so you aren't walking through dirt to get into the pool. But the pool is lovely once you are in. "

The resort is located on a beautiful island, accessible by ferry, which adds to the sense of escape and exclusivity.
