But the place is very plain and very small, and clearly COVID has wrought some reductions in service - the breakfast comprised a coffee, a juice and a croissant. "Wonderful stay! Very beautiful and charming hotel. Seems like hotel is an iconic, historic property. Staff was kind and considerate. Very beautiful property with a lovely garden and presence. Very easy (and free) parking onsite. Room was comfortable. Bathroom was a good size, with wonderful natural light. Shower pressure was excellent. Not too far from Ortigia (approximately 1 1/2 miles). If you have a car, can drive from hotel and park near Ortigia and enjoy nearby sites. Breakfast was above average with coffee/tea, juices, hard boiled and scrambled eggs, toast, pastries and fruit and cheese. Enjoyed offerings for breakfast. Would stay here again!"
