"Although we were there while the ski patrol strike began and continued throughout our stay, the Mountain Lodge and staff were excellent. They had activities such as an Apres-Ski party with Vueve Clicquot, a wine tasting event, and warm cookies daily in the lobby. They even allowed us to checkout early and refund us due to the strike. "

"Staff was excellent! Love the Cinamon buns for breakfast! As I’m a picky eater never like muffins in hotel continental breakfasts. Thanks to Cinamon buns I had the breakfast at this hotel. Only thing we felt too warm in the night there was no way to regulate the heater so we opened the windows & we were fine. The TV didn’t work. My husband wanted to watch football on Christmas Day but he couldn’t on the TV. Other than it was an excellent stay! "

"Great house for a winter family getaway in southern Colorado! Lots of bedrooms and kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'd need to cook for a large group. Wifi could be a little faster but added to thge charm and secluded vibe. And 40 minute drive from Telluride is a must!"
