Winery Hotels & Resorts in Northern Milan

"Receptionist are kind and welcoming. But, I got mislead by the ratings. I often stay at hostels, so I’m used of places that aren’t fancy or super clean. I don’t care if it’s old, which this hotel is, but I like to have some cleanliness and hot water. When you enter the area where the rooms are, you immediately smell an old ”smoke smell”. Don’t know if it was allowed to smoke in the hotel back in time, but some sort of smell is always in the background. The first thing I see is a silverfish on...

"Nice, strategical being close to Malpensa Airport, nice food"

"We stayed there for one night and the location was nice with a comfortable room. Initially we had quite a good experience as the owner was flexible with the check-in procedure and we were able to attend an event in time. Unfortunately the next morning we woke up later than planned and made it to the breakfast at 8am. As we did not inform him that we wanted the included breakfast in advance he was not prepared (which is ok) so we only asked for a coffee and cappuccino . He reacted very hostile...

"Hotel is in a very small village on lake adjacent to Lake Como -- easy to Milan about 45 min and to other villages and Lake Como about 30 min. Lovely staff, nice, comfortable rooms that are well appointed and gorgeous bathrooms. Not much to do in the immediate area so don't expect to walk around a cute town, but the hotel has a solid restaurant with a good breakfast and nice dinner dishes overlooking the lake. "
