"Basically I'd booked a double room and when checking in, was told there was only twin rooms available. Had I been told this before the cancellation window closed I would have cancelled and booked elsewhere. I had no choice but to accept the room otherwise I'd lose my money, which is hardly fair. I slept far worse in a single bed than I would have done in a double."

"The receptionist was so helpful and kind to respond to my query about the hairdryer and came promptly to my room to help me find it and was very gracious when I realised it had been there the whole time in a black bag on the hanger and I totally missed that! The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and I had the best shower. The breakfast was great with a wide selection of food and hot drinks. It was in a good location for the conference I attended at the St Thomas centre next to the cathedral. "

"The stag couldn’t do enough for us, they are all exceptional. We were traveli g with 3 young children and staff were so helpful at breakfast. They brought over plastic bowls/plates/cups and offered to help carry hot drinks over while I was carrying a toddler Always so friendly when we passed the reception desk "

"Absolute dump, loud in the room so thought we better close the window to block some of the sound but It made no difference. Stank of weed if you opened the door so made the room stink. Bed was ok and room was clean but very furnishing all rough and tired etc. Member of staff was friendly. "

"1-night stay for work. Pleasant staff, nice room (room 10) comfortable bed, good ensuite (shower over bath), TV and wifi good. I paid extra for my breakfast, chose the cooked breakfast which was great and hot. Car park was free."
