Brayfield House at Cold Brayfield Brayfield is a Grade II listed country house converted to include flats. It was mostly built in the early 19th century with later additions incorporating 18th century and earlier fabric at the back. It has an elaborate cast iron verandah visible in the photo. The house overlooks the River Great Ouse.

Dismantled Railway Track near Newton Blossomville Ahead is the track of the former Midland Railway that ran between Bedford & Northampton. It was opened on 10 June 1872 and the last steam train ran on 3 March 1962. The Ouse Valley Walk crosses at this point and the track behind the camera has been converted to provide farm access.
