Chateau Lacombe Hotel

Chateau Lacombe Hotel

8/10 Good
"We got a great deal on Expedia and the Chateau Lacombe was a nicer hotel than we were expecting. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had to request a fridge in the room, and it was supplied right away. Conveniently located in downtown Edmonton. We discovered that there is a revolving restaurant on the 24th floor. We decided to treat ourselves to refreshing mocktails and delicious desserts as we watched the sun set over 360 views of Edmonton. Created memories that will last many years! The parking is easy, if a little bit pricey at $25/night. A few small things for improvement: It would have been good to have old towels in the room to deal with spills etc. Some hotels supply these automatically. We were coming from camping and needed to dry out many things. We could have cleaned up after ourselves better. The room needs more outlets. Even if the table and bedside lamps had plug ins, that would be very helpful. The fitness centre was open and well-equipped, but the business centre was closed. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay at Chateau Lacombe!"
