"The Great Southern Hotel is great for the price ($100 for a standard Queen Room). I was on the 3rd floor with a room overlooking Spencer Street. It was slightly noisy with the trams going past but comfortable and I got a good night’s sleep. It’s a great location and the trip to and from the Palais Theatre was easy peasy. So I’d happily recommend it."

"It was very convenient for us. Annie was very welcoming and showed us to our appartment. We would stay again when we travel to Melbourne. The appartment had every thing we needed for our stay. It was clean and comfortable, the air conditioning a bonus as the weather was quite warm. "

"Overall property was great for price however overall the room needed a deep clean with the shower being mouldy and thick dust on windows. Off street parking was close, easily accessible and free. The communication is shocking with instructions being different to what is actually required. Instructions need to be updated. "
