North End Hotels, South Padre Island

"This place is a depressing dump. Workers look at you like they wish you'd leave. If a supervisor had not walked up ,I would still be waiting to check in. The room was filthy. We didn't want to sit on the couch because of the "stains". There was food in the corner of the bathroom. And we were in a 350$ a night suite. The room was hot a musty till we turned on the ac. Refrigerator never got cold. The bar outside was dirty and unorganized. The pool was full of people with no wrist bands ( required by guests) and they were in their street cloths in the pool. This property needs a good cleaning and lots of organizing outside. I was very disappointed. Don't be fooled by the professional pictures. It's nothing like that. Also, you have to park across the street- which the desk didn't tell me about."

"The restroom smelled like sewage, they ran out of body wash and shampoo. The resort needs to be updated, The Starbucks was always closed. The elevator takes a long time to go up or down and there's only 2 of them."

"Location for me. Breakfast was a hour late on opening had to go to Mc Donalds, but when Louise was there it was great, he is a perfect employee."

"The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was perfect. A short walk to the beach and many nearby places to eat. Parking at the hotel was available but as the weekend neared, it was nearly full. The room was clean and simple."
