"Rooms very small , beds so uncomfortable that no one slept well , kitchen very outdated in need of repairs and facelift . Carpets filthy, old , smelly , not even vacuumed . Definitely never vacuumed behind and under the beds. Window blinds falling off after just touching them . Wall papers peeling of the walls . Menager was nice and did his part delivering missing pillow cases . If you don’t mind poor conditions you get what you pay for but I’ll never set my foot again on those carpets....

"The communication with the host was great, owner was lovely. The unit was very clean and nicely decorated. Air conditioning is important to us, especially with a humid summer. The amenities said Air Conditioning, not wall unit. We arrived during a very humid heat wave. The picture advertised does not show that the portable air unit is in living room where the orange cushion is on the floor. Felt a bit misled not knowing this or seeing it in the advertised picture, as the bedrooms were down the...

"Beautiful, large, old home, filled with hundreds of antiques, and a story for every one of them, I'm sure. You'd run out of time before you saw all of them. Really comfy beds, lots of bedrooms (some had private sitting rooms) and bathrooms. Nearly private driveway that winds through beautiful mountain scenery. We were there in winter and still saw tons of wild life..the birds! so many. Huge, old kitchen with some comfy chairs an eat in table and breathtaking views. A private bedroom wing, BUT...
