Hotel Roc Meler

Hotel Roc Meler

10/10 Excellent
"Comfortable Stay with Beautiful Views and Great Amenities We had a nice stay at Roc Meler Hotel in Andorra. The rooms were comfortable, with great views overlooking the town. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a good variety of options to start the day. The hotel also offers a dinner buffet, which we didnā€™t try, and there is an Irish pub onsite serving burgers and staying open until late, which is a convenient option after a day of exploring. They also have a spa and massage services that we would love to try on our next visit. Private parking costs ā‚¬18, but itā€™s a plus that the hotel has two EV charging stations, which was very convenient for us. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit. There are plenty of amenities to enjoy, and we definitely plan to return for a longer stay to make the most of everything the hotel has to offer!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Norgeat?
The best area to stay in Norgeat is the town centre, particularly around the Place de l'Ɖglise and Rue du Commerce.

This area is the heart of Norgeat, offering a convenient and pleasant base for your visit. You'll find a good selection of independent shops, local eateries, and the weekly market here. The historic church, Ɖglise Saint-Martin, is a prominent landmark, and many of the streets leading off the main square are pedestrian-friendly, making it easy to stroll around.

Couples looking for a relaxing and authentic experience will find the town centre perfect. You're within easy walking distance of quality restaurants, wine bars, and artisan boutiques. The evening ambience is pleasant, with opportunities for a quiet drink or a gourmet meal, and many accommodations offer views of the historic architecture.

For those planning to explore the surrounding Occitanie region, staying in the town centre also offers practicality. Main roads leading out of Norgeat are easily accessible, and you're close to local transport links if you prefer not to drive every day.
When is the best time to go to Norgeat?
The best time to visit Norgeat is generally during late spring (May-June) and early autumn (September-October) for pleasant weather and fewer crowds.

You'll find that hiking trails are accessible and the local markets are bustling with fresh produce. This period is particularly good for couples looking for a relaxing escape with opportunities for outdoor activities like walking or cycling without the peak summer heat.

For families, the summer months of July and August can also be an excellent choice, especially if you're planning activities that involve water, such as visiting local lakes or rivers. While it's the busiest time, Norgeat remains relatively peaceful compared to larger tourist destinations, and many local events and festivals take place during this period.
