Darwin City Hotel

"All we needed was there, but for the price we paid, it was nothing special. Only instant coffee and black tea in the bedroom - we would have expected at least a choice of green tea and coffee bags, if not a coffee maker. The pool was small, but ok for cooling off and doing a few strokes. We were on the ground floor (rooms 107 and 109), away from the road, so we were not at all inconvenienced by the noise others have complained of. No food is served but there are places nearby. We didn't try the gym."

"The apartment was good and clean. The bed and pillows are excellent and very comfortable. Service was good and the people were very friendly. The building seems to need refreshing and the area isn't the best. Some kind of coffee machine would have been nice."

"Great location walking distance to everything in the CBD. Furnishings in the room a bit old and tired, bathroom needs an update, however, the shower was excellent with great water pressure. Breakfast at Salvatores next door was very good, food was terrific and staff very friendly and efficient. Overall an enjoyable stay, a bit overpriced but certainly would consider staying there again."

"Nice hotel in a convenient location. Apartment was modern, light and airy. Comfortable beds but smallish bedrooms. Lovely pool but very limited gym. The restaurant downstairs and room service were excellent, and the staff were helpful."

"A great place to stay. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a good sized balcony, fully functional kitchen and nice big bedrooms. Really handy having two bathrooms, comfortable couches and big TV. Very helpful reception staff, although the cleaners and maintenance people were a bit hit and miss. The pool was ok rather than great, but overall a great place in a handy location. I'd stay there again."
