My family and I had a wonderful time at this clean and comfortable house. There was everything we needed with many thoughtful touches. The house and property have a lot of history, and the hosts were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The property is gorgeous and the surrounding area has lots to see and do. We would definitely recommend this spot to anyone, and will try to come back again to stay!
Marie & Jean-Louis were fabulous hosts that ensured we had everything needed. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-appointed. We were given a lovely tour of the family's cave where the family once produced wine. The gîte is in an historic district with lovely views of the vines and mustard in early spring. Truly a gem of a vacation property.
We had a lovely week here in the Loire, making the most of a great location about 15 minutes from Amboise. The property is traditional with lovely views from the garden.
Our hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful - providing insight into the history of the area and ideas for shops, things to do, restaurants, etc. We cannot thank them enough.
A very relaxing stay
We absolutely loved our stay at this charming old vineyard house! From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a French postcard. The house has so much character, with original stone walls and antique furnishings. The gardens were gorgeous and there were dreamy vineyard views in every direction. The house was clean, well maintained and thoughtfully equipped. The hosts were warm, kind and full of great local recommendations. I highly recommend this lovely spot for a great peaceful getaway.
This gite is very comfortable, and well equipped with lots of character and ideally located in the Loire Valley. Pauline and Jean Louis went out of their way to make us feel welcome! We would not hesitate to recommend this accomodation or Hosts 100%! We will be back!
This is a unique property, with a kind and accommodation host who was keen to share the history and personal connection with the area.
Our hosts gave us great guidance on where to visit!
The accommodation close to the town and amenities but offered tranquility away from the tourists. Surrounded by vineyards and amazing night sky views….. complete with owl sounds!
Our 3-night stay at this historic property in Noizay was delightful from start to finish. We easily accessed the retreat with a 20-minute drive from the Gare St Pierre des Corps, where we rented a car from Avis. The house blends old-world charm with modern comforts—comfortable beds, a newly updated shower with instant hot water, and a contemporary toilet. We visited in mid-May when the weather was perfect. The blooming rose garden and nearby fields of vibrant poppies added to the serene ambiance. Practical amenities were just a short drive away in Amboise, with excellent dining and groceries available. The property boasts a rich history, highlighted by the cave that once served as a wine press for its renowned Vouvray white wine. The artistic touch of our kind hostess is evident in the beautiful paintings that adorn the home. If you're seeking a peaceful retreat with a blend of tradition, modernity, and natural beauty, this Noizay getaway is the perfect choice!
A recommander! Merci!
