The staff were friendly and tried their best to speak English- the food was good. The view from the room was good. In places the property condition was not good. 1. In my room at the bottom of the window had many dead insects. 2 In one of the spas on the walls the paint seemed to have gone black in places. And in the outside spa there was a blue sheet up to cover a broken balcony floor and fence. The fence was broken, and there was a rope up to stop people going near the fence. 3 just outside the breakfast room there were some buckets down to catch the water coming from the ceiling- There was also a white sheet up. 4 after having breakfast I made my way out of the breakfast room and noticed that the room adjacent to the corridor, the tiles on the ceiling were hanging down broken and tattered. 5 The carpets were stained in many places. It was not cheap to stay at this well known hotel chain and I didn’t expect the property to be in this kind of degraded condition. This property is part of a well known hotel chain in Japan and I am wondering why the property has not been refurbished or some of the issues rectified. One of the hotels spas is a really pleasant onsen and the hotel rooms have nice views and the area is real nice, despite the property’s degradation I enjoyed my time there. I hope that someone from Livemax head office sees this and decides to set aside the monies to fix their issues.

This place is completely run down. Pictures do an amazing job at deceiving you. After 10 days in Japan, we met the first rude Japanese person. Our room had a cockroach in it, and smelled like mildew. After I showed her a video, She provided me a can of roach spray and said, “I give you medicine to take care of butterfly ok”. One guest had his dog pee on the carpet directly in front of the entry way.

This property should be knocked down. Long story short who is the filthiest place I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot of places around the world will not recommend.

Booked this property for private onsen, emailed them to get information and no ine got back, on arrival no sayna and no private onsen and no reason given, room was very nice but hotel is dated and needs a good clean

This place is falling apart at the seams. The property is old and musty with bugs. The food was passable but it’s one of very few choices in the area. The onsen bath takes literally hours to fill (8-10 inches per hour) and the location is so remote it takes several trains which run once an hour at most. Staff are lovely but avoid this place!!

the building is in bad shape, badly needs to be overhauled, but being a bubble investement it's too big thus unlikely to ever earn a corresponding income. The public outside baths are refreshing but again the inside connected facilities require repair. The onsen water i apprreciated.

We accidentally booked a Smoking room and when we got to our room it was absolutely disgusting. The sheets were dirty and had stains on them, and the room was unbearably stinky. My wife has asthma so we needed to change rooms. When we asked the front desk if we could switch to a non-smoking room, they claimed the hotel was full and that was impossible. The parking lot was empty and it was very obviously not full, but they insisted we used some spray on the smoking room as a solution.. I explained that didn’t work for us and we are happy to pay more if needed to switch to a non-smoking room. The women at the front desk was trying really hard to be accommodating, but was answering to a man in the back room who refused to come out and speak with us. After almost an hour of back and forth, they simply switched us to a non-smoking room, which was all we needed in the first place. We felt very disrespected and it was truly horrible customer service. The non-smoking room was slightly better, but the onsens at the hotel were disgusting and the whole hotel smelled like an old motel. We ended up leaving and going to another hotel for our third night rather than staying there. The river view from the room was nice, but that’s about it. I would highly recommend going to a different hotel in the area.

훌륭한 저녁식사, 일본 노천 온천, 다다미방 저렴한 가격으로 (석식 선택 필수)

장단점이 명확한 도전적인 숙소였습니다. 단점은 조금의 더러움도 용납할 수 없다면 거르시면 됩니다. 일단 저는 매우 만족했습니다. 가격은 석식 옵션 포함해도 상당히 저렴합니다. 직원들은 친절 했고, 석식 뷔페는 구성 및 신선도가 매우 훌륭합니다. 노천탕 포함 온천도 이용할 수 있습니다. 에어컨 잘 작동하고 방도 넓은 편이어서 쾌적 했습니다. 다른 리뷰에서 시설 컨디션이 좋지 않다는 평을 들어서 각오하고 갔습니다. 시설이 낙후되서 어쩔수 없는 부분이 있지만 청소는 최대한 되어 있었습니다. '본사에서 리모델링을 했으면 어떠했을까?' 라는 생각도 있지만 근처의 폐업한 여러 리조트를 보니 나름 사정이 있겠지요. 침몰해가는 배에서 직원들이 필사적 노력으로 유지하는 느낌? 최근 간 숙소 중에서 가장 인상적이었습니다. 석식 옵션은 꼭 포함시키세요.

7/25に宿泊しました。大変お世話になりました家族で2部屋を予約しました。どちらも部屋風呂付きでした。階は別々でしたが、特に不便では無かったのですが1部屋のエアコンが効かずフロントへ連絡しました。すぐに対応してくださり故障かもしれませんとの事。暑い日だったので、不安な気持ちが広がりました。すると、チェックインで対応してくださったスタッフの方が「もしよろしければ、お部屋の変更も可能ですがいかがなさいますか？」と。お部屋のアップグレードの提案でした。すでにお風呂に温泉を溜めていたので申し訳なかったのですが、、快くお部屋を案内してくださいました。どちらのお部屋も自由に使ってOKとのこと…！子ども達をエアコンの効かないお部屋で入浴させていただき、その後部屋を移動させていただきました。そのお陰で夕飯も遅れる事なくスムーズに伺えました！まさかのセミスイートのお部屋に子ども達も大喜びでした。朝夕のバイキングも充実していたし、温泉も最高でした。4.5回入湯しました。大浴場には行っていませんが、時間に余裕があれば行きたかったです。老舗ホテルをリノベーションしてあるのでピカピカのホテルとはまた雰囲気が違いますが、夜は静かだしレストラン会場も混み混みせずでとても過ごしやすかったです。コスパがとにかく良い。スタッフの方々お世話になりました。ありがとうございました。

ベットではなく、布団でしたが厚さが薄くてとても寝てられない、部屋の入口の出入りが不便で嫌でした。ご飯は沢山の種類があって美味しかったです。スタッフはとても親切でした。不満は部屋と布団だけです。

行く前に、口コミなどを読んでいたのですが、そこまで、気にならないし自分は、嫁の親戚の挨拶行くのに泊まったのですが、とても快適でした。嫁に内緒でグレードアップしており部屋に入って奥さんがとても喜んでくれたので大満足です。ご飯も美味しくいっぱい食べてしまった周りは潰れている旅館が多く怖いかも知れませんが、とても繁盛していた事が伺えました。2月中だと、少しだけですが、雪が残っているので注意が必要かも!!

イメージと違い残念。

少ない人数で運営しているようで、何度か到着の間に電話をしたが取らなくて、大変不安になり困った。そしてその不安は的中し、前もっての告知はあるものの、引き返せない状況の中に言われても、受け入れることしかできませんでした。私たちはリニューアルして1年くらいのところに宿泊したと思うのですが、不安しか残らず、ゆっくり安心して温泉どころではなかった。
