"This was our first visit to Nikko to visit family. Nikko Kanaya was a good choice. It is a 150 year old hotel, modernized in every way necessary. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and the hotel was very busy during our weekend stay. People tend to dress up at this hotel and it is a bit formal. "The hotel is very new. It does not provide an air purifier but you can borrow it at the front counter. I also asked their help to call to make amendments to my reservation. The staff are all very helpful. There are a mixture of foreign staff and Japanese staff. They able to speak English. All the fixtures are new. The breakfast is good. The room are spacious. No complain at all. "

"大変お世話になりました。 お部屋は２間で綺麗に清掃されていました。 スタッフは外国人の方が優しく対応してくださいました。 お風呂は露天風呂の温度が低くて寒かったです。内風呂は温かかったです。 洗面台や床に大量の髪の毛が落ちていてモップで掃除をしました。 ゴミ箱が少ないのかゴミが溢れていました。 フリードリンクもありましたがビールがなかったのが残念でした。 食事は朝食のみでしたがあまり食べられないので充分でした。 エレベーターが直ぐ閉まってしまうので毎回手で押さえて出入りしていたのでもう少し開いている時間を長く設定した方が良いと思います。 家族旅行には良いと思います。"
