Dome 5 · Luxury Lakeside Dome Experience Private Hot Tub
10/10 Excellent
"It was everything we were looking for. Quite, great scenery. The dome was clean and was equipped with anything you would need or want...except tea. Lots of coffee but no tea. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. "
"This place is perfect for groups of all ages with lots to do, an abundance of beautiful views, gathering spaces and quiet places. The accessibility to the Bras D'Or Lake is wonderful even our 88 yr old father could drive down to the beach area and take in the beauty! The home has many thoughtful games, books and finishing touches to make the place ideal for a gathering. We loved the large table our big family could gather around. The teens loved the pool table and dart board and the seniors in our group enjoyed the accessibility of the main floor area (large rooms, walk in shower etc). The kitchen was very functional and well equipped. We really enjoyed these exceptional homes and would come back in a heart beat! "
"We stayed for two nights with our two dogs. Quiet spot with nice view of the lake. Close to all amenities. Room was clean and kitchen well supplied (except food which we brought ;) )"
Dome 6 · Lakeside Luxury Dome Experience Private Hot Tub
10/10 Excellent
"The Lakeside Dome is a perfect spot for a quiet getaway. We enjoyed the view of the lake and it was very close to the Dundee resort where we were attending a wedding. A nice retreat."
"My stay was perfect. Having spent my summers on the Bras d’Or lake as a child I knew what I was getting with regards to lake (it is clear, warmer than the ocean, salt water —perfect to me!), but this was my first stay at Lakeside Luxury. I booked the cottage which was a great option for privacy, the screened porch was perfect for the mornings and evenings to get away from bugs. The bed was very comfortable and so was the sofa and there were some really great finishes in the cottage to give it a luxury feel but still with the Cape Breton vibes I grew up with. It was so peaceful and I loved spending my days on the private dock and then going back in the evening to get my sunset pictures (Bras d’Or Arm of Gold). The staff were exceptional. I stayed a week so saw them come and go and they checked in periodically to see if I needed anything and were very pleasant. I needed to get away from my life and spend some time alone with just the sounds of rustling trees and the water lapping on the shore and this place was the perfect choice!! Thank you for an amazing vacation!"
"It’s a big beautiful house, it has everything you would need in the kitchen. And the downstairs was so much fun! But very quiet and relaxing! With the most amazing views"
