"My room was a little tired, but for the price I wasn't expecting the Ritz. Perfectly functional, with comfy bed, good shower over bath. Nice extras of biscuits and bottled water. Staff in pub great, food really tasty, food and beer very reasonably priced. Felt very safe and welcomed as a single traveller. Will happily return."

"We received such a friendly welcome from the owners and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and the service was excellent. We never waited long for food or a drink at the bar with the landlords really keeping an eye on things. The room we had was very large and comfortable in a cottage just outside.
