Boutique hotel in an old country pub-- real imagination and flair used here--staff were briliant

Loved being in the middle of everything. Across the road is the shopping centre (centre city), just a block down the road is a number of cafes and restaurants/bars, a block up the road is the movie theatre and you are around the corner from the Main Street. I would recommend the metrotel motel to people who enjoy the night life or would rather walk to everything then drive.

A great place to stay, close to the beach, close to town and eateries. A warm welcome, clean and modern with a good car park. Excellent staff who go the extra mile.

We loved our stay here. The room was spacious and very clean. So close to the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff.

From initial check in, to our departure, a terrific stay. The young lady who checked us in was fantastic. (Casey) Not just a generic greeting, but a genuine interest in our reason for the visit and a warm welcome. Bed extremely comfortable, great shower and air conditioning which worked beautifully. As an added bonus, coffee in the morning was spot on. I would recommend the Novotel 100% and will look no further for my next stay. Well done to the team.

Will certainly use this motel again. Easy access in and out and will recommend family & friends to stay here. Only shortfall was the absence of an extractor in the toilet and shower area.

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel was very clean and comfortable only thing i can fault was there was no soap in the dispenser or shampoo or conditioner as it stated in the advertising,beds were so comfortable,loved the view from our room,was quite noisy with cars on friday night though but i guess thats part of being in a busy place like new plymouth🙂would love to know what sheets were on the beds i want to buy some for at home🙂

It is very conveniently situated within walking distance of the museum, gallery and commercial centre.

Perched on cliff above New Plymouth's coastal walkway and convenientaly located close to the city, this quiet, well organised campground is perfect for a weekend away. The motel style cabin was very clean and well appointed and we even had a view of the ocean from our deck. If you can see if you can get a site or cabin right on the cliff edge! A step or two to the walkway and a short drive to the city centre.

I really enjoyed my stay at Bella Vista Motel, the customer service was excellent and the room I stayed in was just what we needed while we were in New Plymouth. Was close to shops and really easy to find. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and we will definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel with indoor (heated) and outdoor pools. Great room with kitchen and lounge and very spacious. Good location very close to downtown New Plymouth and the sea.
