This is my second stay at this hotel. It's a very nice hotel to stay in however their water system for their showers could be better. Each visit there was no water pressure and no hot water while trying to shower. If they could fix this issue, It would meet all expectations when staying.

The jungle is a beautiful hotel very nice rooms. Very nice staff makes you feel safe and the pool is amazing.

The room was clean and nice. The amenities left a lot to be desired. The lobby bar was not ever open and the hotel didn't have luggage drop off feature for free.

I did not like that they did not have a kitchen on property. I don’t think it’s advertised on their website that they do not having any restaurants or in room dining on site. Also they do not have a concierge for surprise and delights. They outsource to a 3rd party for special occasions. The bar had odd hours. I would not stay there again.

We got the room because it had a tub once we received our room there was no tub and it also include a bottle that we never received staff was nice even tho they couldn’t help putting me in a room with a tub which is all I wanted

The property is gorgeous… The room is spotless and attractive. The general areas of the hotel are well designed inconvenient. I gave a slightly lower score for the area around the hotel, but this is not the hotels responsibility just the nature of this part of New Orleans. Happily the hotel is walking distance from the Veux Carre, if that’s what you’re here for.

The hotel is very clean. It provides self-laundry service. We just hope we can get more accommodations like coffee and lemon water in the lobby. We stayed there for 10 plus days. We hope that the hotel can provide big containers of shampoo, body wash and conditioner. (They can be mounted on the wall of the shower.) We feel bad we wasted so many tiny single usage bottles of shampoo, body wash and conditioner. Also, the in-room coffee maker makes very weak coffee. We finally place the coffee bag back into the coffee cup after brewing to make it stronger.

The lobby was really nice and the seating areas were nice. But unfortunately the hotel overall was questionable. 1) Our ironing board had blood splatter on it. 2) The water would not warm up in the sink or shower. The hottest it got was lukewarm. 3) On several occasions, there were no lids for our coffee cups in our room. 4) There were no directions on how to use the internet, so we had to to call the front desk. 5) Oftentimes, when we called the front desk, it just rang and rang. 6) I tried to steam refresh a dress by using the nice washer and dryers in the room. I clicked steam refresh in the dryer and my dress came out more damp and wrinkled! I'm not sure if the barrel was wet. It's a stackable and the dryer is on top, so you wouldn't need a step stool of some sorts to look inside.

I was disgusted. My initial room the floor was gross, the spare pillow gross, no mattress pad. The room I was assigned to next had mold along the showers old medicine bottles on the side of the bed

The website claims there is a restaurant on the premises. The restaurant is closed permanently. The lobby bar has limited hours during the week. The Coffee Bar is very limited and was closed completely at least one day while we were there.

I stayed at The Jung Hotel for 4 nights whilst visiting New Orleans and would describe the hotel as overall good. The hotel is in a good location. It is on Canal Street and it is a leisurely 10 minute walk into Downtown/ French Quarter, which is the main areas to visit and is just far enough away from the lovely areas to keep it fairly peaceful. The rooms are large and well presented. They were clean and fully working. The only criticism of the rooms were that the basics (water and shower wash etc.) were not restocked by the cleaner each day. The hotel itself was well presented. It has a bar in the lobby and a coffee shop that was open during the day. It also had a roof top pool which was nice and clean. The staff were okay. We didn’t get our ‘VIP Access’ gift at check-in and had to ask the next day. The staff were friendly enough but came across fed up and we were an inconvenience when at the desk. Overall, we had a nice stay at the hotel and would stay again if in New Orleans.

The property is very nice and we enjoyed our stay. Our room was just as pictured and we were able to get service each day. The trolly is very close in proximity and bourbon/french quarter is walkable. There weren't any food or drink options on the property which would've been nice to have. There is some homeless in the surrounding area which almost can't be avoided. All the staff were nice and helpful. We would stay her agaim for sure.
