I have stayed at this property a number of times. This time I stayed twice within a 2 week period. The firsr time we checked in i was told about a new policy change where if we did not allow a $500 hold on my credit card the manager had the right to refuse checkin. The receptionnist had made the mistake of telling one room she would take.a $100 cash bond and then telling me she would take a $500 hold on my credit card. There was no transparency about this new policy despite the hotel already taking our money for our reservations. There was a huge discussion about this new policy and how it applies from now.going forward. The following week when i.checked in there was no requirement or holding a $500 bond much to my surprise as the manager had made a big deal.about it the week.before. also the rooms are so dark and dingy. Only the location qis superb.
