"Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Had a little crawling friend but front desk was prompt and professional , it’s to be expected you are next to water. "

"Great location, just a short walk to the beach. Rooms are dated with small bathrooms, and hotel restaurants are pricey. Front desk staff were very friendly and attentive. Free beach towels and cookies at check-in were a nice touch. Elevators are slow, especially during checkout with luggage carts."

"Hotel was great! Staff amazing. Had a few issues with getting our room serviced. Had to keep asking front desk for clean towels. Told front desk Tuesday evening we would be gone (with our dog) for at least 14 hours on Wednesday starting at 5:30am and to service our room. Even had tag on door stating so. Return Wednesday evening and our room was STILL not serviced. Finally serviced on Thursday with fresh sheets and towels. Breakfast is not as expected for $7. Two tiny waffles and a 1/2 apple or 2 tiny egg bites with instant oatmeal. Better off going to diner or Waffle house for the $, quantity, and quality. Very pet friendly with lots of grassy area for dog as well as doggie waste bags. Overall with the misshaps with room servicing, I would still recommend. Beach is within walking distance!"

"Clean, quiet, comfortable and a great location. It is next door to Tryon Palace and the tour bus starting point. Breakfast was tasty and included gluten free options. Great restaurants a short walk away. Plenty of parking behind building and the Tesla EV charger was a pleasant surprise. We highly recommend Aerie House."

"Younger staff needs a training course on customer service and overall hospitality. Hotel was being cleaned and maintained from top to bottom. Day three was much better than day 1. "
