Location Location
The property was well designed for the purpose of our stay. Generally clean however needs a little freshening up as it looks a bit tired eg. paintwork & air-con grills. The pantry was thoughtfully stocked with essentials as were kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. Adequate keys were provided which was very handy. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property immensely.

We’ll be back
Perfect for the 6 of us staying at our favourite location near Duchies Beach. Pleasantly impressed with the cleanliness of the home upon entering the property, spacious and had all of our needs catered for. All in all cannot fault this property as our home away from home. We will certainly be booking again!

Location was perfect and property was very clean. Only suggestion is new beds required as they were rock hard and so uncomfortable, no one could sleep.

Wonderful property close a kid friendly beach and close to everywhere.
Property was spacious, clean and tidy. Getting around to all the attractions of Port Stephens was very easy. There is a secluded beach close by. Would definately stay there again.

Great weekend getaway
Venessa & John were fabulous hosts of this quiet little townhouse. We were 7 adults and a 1 year old and the house suited perfectly. It was an overcast weekend, and the house provided a great view of the lake (which was only about 150m from the front door!) and plenty of indoor and outdoor leisure space. The kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful family weekend
Fabulous weekend spent with the family. This home had plenty of room for us all and a wonderful open plan area to enjoy each other. The house was spotless and very comfortable with plenty of seating, beds and bathrooms for us all. Very close to everything beach, shops and the walking path to the marina. The sunset view from the verandah was stunning and the children enjoyed the playset in the backyard. We would definitely book again.

Lovely property in fantastic location
We had a lovely stay, the property is a great size and is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We were two couples both with our 1 years olds and the layout was perfect. It’s located a very close walk to the beach and has lovely views of the water. The only dampener was the terrible weather as we don’t feel like we were able to appreciate/explore the area and also utilize the lovely garden and swing set out the back which was disappointing as it was our first getaway with our bubs, but obviously completely out of anyone’s control. Would highly recommend and stay again.

The property was exactly as advertised which provided an excellent destination to spend the Canberra Day long weekend and my wife's 50th birthday. The property was clean and well presented with a layout that allowed everyone to enjoy their own space when needed but also had a very functional common area upstairs which allowed us to come together and enjoy some fantastic views. We had a great stay and look forward to coming back.

Fantastic stay so close to the beach
We were very impressed by the property, I don't think the photos do it justice. We spend most days at the beach just a few minutes walk down the hill. We were very lucky not having to drive down there over the Australia Day weekend as parking was always full. Only issue was the upstairs aircon kept turning off by itself. Host was great, and very accommodating when our dates had to change.

This was a great house in a fantastic location. Our little ones loved the closeness to the beach and sitting on the balcony was the perfect way to spend our evenings. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to prepare meals and the set up of the property was great. We were thankful for the swing set on the rainy days!

What a fabulous property!
We recently stayed at this house for a long weekend getaway from Sydney. Two young families with 3 kids (1, 2 and a 3 year old). This worked out brilliantly for us and each family had a dedicated zone, both upstairs and downstairs had two bedrooms and complete bathrooms so we were able to stay out of each other's way, and with kids of these ages, different sleep times etc, it really worked out well. Well set up open entertaining/living area and functional kitchen was great. The location is good, with Dutchies Bay just down the hill (ideal distance for kids to walk themselves!), but a little far from the Nelson Bay shops. Although we walked with the prams into town along a lovely boardwalk through the bush and along the streets, both routes became the daily exercise rather than a relaxing walk into town for a coffee. Double car garage was ideal, flat driveway for kids bikes and bubbles was excellent and a functional laundry meant we didn't come home to a mountain of washing. Overall, it's a wonderful holiday home to make lasting memories! Thanks Vanessa for all your tips and ongoing communication.

This property was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 3 young children. It was clean, spacious and in a great location, you could see the beautiful water from the living room! Just a few minutes walk from Dutchmans beach, and a couple of minutes drive into town. Communication with Venessa was always prompt, and she was so accommodating with our check-in and check-out times, it made the whole holiday much more relaxed. We loved the whole house, the outdoor shower and swing set were very handy with energetic kids and our many returns from the beach. We would love to come back! Very highly recommended!

The property was ideal for our short getaway. It accommodated 6 adults and 4 kids without feeling cramped. The view from the balcony and dining room was mesmerising and the ease and communication with the owners 1st class. Excellent location and communication with owners and likewise the check-in process. Nice property with all the required facilities. However we did find some minor things to note. There was a lack of rubbish bins in the bathrooms. The central heating system kept turning off (the system itself, not just the auto mode) after an hour or so during the night which was an inconvenience for us as we had an infant and needed the correct temps for his overnight sleep especially in the middle of winter. Probably won’t affect adults though. And the last thing was the mold on the bottom of the shower stall door. That may not be an issue for many but it was for my wife. Overall it was a nice stay.
