"Positives: The room had an amazing sunrise, the breakfast area and breakfast food was amazing. The patio area was nice to sit and do some journal entries. We were able to park our rental car in front with no issue. It was a short 15 minute drive to the Oslob whale shark site. Negatives: The room shower smelled very very bad, we didnt even use it. "Exceptional service, helpful and resourceful staffs, and clean room. Due to the typhoon, our tour was cancelled and we really couldn’t do much. Hotel staffs set up karaoke and pool table for us, to keep us busy. They claimed the tree and provided fresh coconuts for us. "This is a resort with a big heart. We loved the beautiful and quiet grounds, the friendly staff, the comfortable rooms with great views, and the extensive food and drinks menu that never failed to please. Oh, and it has a great pool and WiFi too. On the Wednesday morning of our stay we walked three minutes along the beach to the colourful Malatapay market."
