"This is our second time here. Staff is really nice especially all the doormen. This time around was a little different. We love our ac very low and unfortunately we had to change rooms because the temperature wouldn’t get cold enough. The second room got a few degrees colder but not how we would prefer it. Both bathrooms tubs need a little makeover. Nonetheless we loved our stay. Water pressure is super strong and the water got really hot. The tvs are all smart tvs which we love. It’s a very clean hotel. It’s close to a lot of stores and restaurants.

"The hotel is wonderful, the bed was the best, the lobby was very cozy and the smell was great. We were greeted by Oscar when we arrive and he was very friendly and professional. All the staff was super friendly. The drivers were very efficient. We took a private tour to Puebla with Enrique , very friendly person. The best hotel in CDMX"
"Umbral Hilton provided comfortable, high-quality accommodations. The area is safe for international travellers with key landmarks such as The Zocalo, Bellas Artes, and The Cathedral within a couple of blocks. Meet-up options for tours are also close by, although it often made more sense to walk a few blocks to grab our Uber because traffic is slow. No big deal, but wearing comfortable shoes is a must.
Food options are plentiful, readily available, and steps away: 24-hr Taqueria Los Cocuyos (visited by Anthony Bourdain), Azulisimo (unmatchable high-end traditional), Terraza Gran Hotel (Zocalo view)...and we had Tim Horton's coffee next door, as well as excellent restaurants with natural juices and many options both at the base of the hotel and on the top floor. We also used the room service, and it was excellent. My husband liked the burger and I loved the quesadillas made with hand-made coloured corn tortillas. The blended margaritas by the pool are delicious.
The bed and linen were comfortable and of high quality, and our room was very spacious. Overall, a great stay! Fully recommend it.

"We had a great stay. The hotel is fantastic, in a very good location. Helpful staff. We stayed at the premium level, which comes with access to the premium lounge, which has free snacks and drinks (including wine and beer) in the evenings. Fabulous! "

"Really enjoyed my stay at the Zocalo Central as a 1st time visitor to Mexico City. The location is excellent, within walking distance to many interesting sites and a great starting point from which to explore the historic district. Service at the hotel is wonderful. Everyone is kind and helpful. I became ill during my stay and needed hot water to make a cup of soup: thank you to the lovely young women working at the reception desk on the 6th floor bar/restaurant who helped me. The breakfast buffet is delicious (and again, wonderful service) with an incredible view over the Constitution Plaza and Metropolitan Cathedral. The room was clean and modern, and the hotel bed + pillows were extremely comfortable. Loved the CE Bigelow amenities in the bathroom. Overall, a fantastic hotel - highly recommend and would gladly stay here again on a future visit."
