"I stayed at this hotel with my wife and encountered a very disappointing situation during our stay. While waiting for the elevator, a woman entered ahead of us, despite us clearly being in line first. When I mentioned this, she replied that we “wouldn’t fit” in the elevator. "Special mention to Mamata! I recently stayed, and prior to arriving exchanged over 40 emails with Mamata regarding my son's birthday. Mamata always responded straight away and was so helpful. The decorations were very tasteful and beautiful. Upon arrival a few small issues were immediately rectified , (again , by Mamata) ..a real credit to the hotel. All the staff were very friendly and the massages at the Spa were amazing. I loved Kathmandu and shed a tear when leaving. Kathmandu and the people are incredibly special."

"This hotel is clean, close to many restaurants, shops and central to all things tourist life but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood area so very quiet at night. The restaurant has good food too. If you want authentic Nepalese cuisine ask for it as normally they tone down the chili for the tourists. Breakfast was good. AC works great too as well as fast WiFi. Staff and Service were exceptional as they kept our bags for a few days when we were trekking tigers. We would stay here again."
