Always stay in Nepali Ghar in Kathmandu, and really love it. Super quiet at the edge of Thamel, but only 5mins walk from the main buzz. Lovely garden restaurant and rooms always perfect. Staff are great too. Will miss it when I head home to Scotland tonight 😎

Very nice boutique hotel next to the Afot in the Thamel, Kathmandu's back packer area. Hotel is charming with an excellent morning yoga session. Good meals offering BUT the breakfast needs to be improved, that is for sure.No expresso at breakfast or for an extra charge.

If I could give this hotel and it staff 1000 stars it still wouldn’t be enough. They go above and beyond in every aspect of a hotel and restaurant they are always there to help in any way they can.The rooms are very nice and clean with all the modern conveniences. Shopping and nightlife are all around. This is also I very nice place to stay and relax.

The hotel was excellent. New, clean, with an old world charm. Would strongly recommend to anyone. Kathmandu is a highly congested city with poor infrastructure. This, however, has nothing to do with the Napali Ghar Hotel which is a wonderful oasis in the midst of it all.

Amazing hotel and once I got my bearings and tackled the busy a Thamel streets, the hotel was excellent location. I loved my stay and the staff were helpful. The only thing I would take note of is the soundproofing of rooms - there isn’t much. I had a room overlooking the street the hotel is located on and got a free show from the pub opposite. Traffic however does quieter down and start up again at reasonable hours. Further, I could hear the guests in the room next to me enough to make out whole words. And lastly - the door alarms! If you don’t shut your door properly, it’ll alarm after a moment. Maybe a gentle reminder to guest that closing your door needs a bit of an extra push would help here as after a minute, the beeping is frustrating.

The rooms were very big and clean. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was awesome. A little expensive but totally worth it to start our day and so convenient. Nice little bar area fir end of day and room too area to hang out. Very clean. Quiet.

Love!! So pretty. Staff was nice, and it has all little details of a great boutique hotel- cute decorations, amenities, gorgeous bathroom, etc. Chill vibe. We stayed in another name brand hotel for double the price during a different part of our stay and it was half as good. Strong recommend!
