The staff were super friendly and amazing as usual, very helpful when needed, the motel has security overnight which helps people feel safe from unwanted guests. The area is not that bad, very close to downtown San Diego, and Chula Vista, honestly it's a prime location for your money. I plan to use this location every year.

The room I stayed in looked clean. The bathroom had a urine odor. The A/C works but needs to be cleaned because it flows dark dust all over the room. The floor and everything turned dark within 10 minutes. The staff are very kind and very professional. The place feels very safe due to security person guarding the entrance at night. The outdoor parking lots is very clean and well maintained. If I’m not continuing inhaled the dust pollution for seven days then I would be ok to give it an overall rating of 4.0.

I really enjoy staying here. The room is spacious, always clean and the AC works great. It has a full size fridge and microwave which is very convenient. Hot water In the shower, a desk and table. It's great for a budget motel. Honestly, the area isn't the best, but they do everything they can to make sure the property is safe and secure, including a security guard at night monitoring the vehicles going in and out of the parking lot. I have never felt unsafe there.

The price was very low compared to other hotels in San Diego. I have been to this hotel in the past with someone else having booked her stay there. Both the past and recent visit were nice and comfortable. I like the area and at first some people might think the area has increased crime, but I would go somewhere else only if wanting more amenities. The location I like and the parking is included. If paying more than Studio 6 was I would prefer having gym elevators and breakfast or room service for food. Also, the hotel staff takes security seriously which is very comforting and appreciated. Thank you for a pleasant evening. I will like to book another stay soon.

Can’t say enough how great an extended stay Studio 6 is. It is kept clean, staff is very friendly, room service is super thorough and the owners and management think of the needs of their patrons and respond quickly. Forget what you remember about the old Motel 6s in the past, Studio 6 has made a full transformation of their brand and business model especially at this location.

This is a basic, to-the-point motel. Nothing less, nothing more. However, the kitchenette is a pleasant surprise! A full fridge, sink and microwave are always great to have for a motel room. The shower was ok, but those foot slips looked kind of gnarly and dirty. There were two remotes for the tv - old school like you're visiting your grandparents - hee hee. Took a minute to figure out which did which, then all was ok. Still a little annoying. No blanket on the bed, just sheets. It's hot out, so I kind of understood. The parking lot was protected by a security guard who asked if I had a room and which number before he would let me enter, which I really liked. It was secure and safe. I only need the essentials: a clean room, a bed with fairly decent pillows, a running toilet, sink and shower, and a tv that works just well enough. The neighborhood is working class, so it can be a little sketchy, but I can live with that. The rate was affordable and check-in was quick. I'll most likely return here for a third time.
