Great location. Was about fifteen minutes for whiskey row and about ten minutes form Geodis Park. Was a nice room but the bed was hard as a rock and very uncomfortable. I'd rate this place higher if the bed was better.

The Iris Motel was definitely a great pick for a quick stay for a Dr. appointment. For the price you can’t beat it. Easy parking and you can walk to get food. The room was clean! I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be booking again next time I come to Nashville!

This is a funky spot that is immaculate and well maintained. It was perfect for our weekend in Music City because we could easily get to our destinations by car, Uber, and even bus (which stops across the street). The facilities allowed us to have coffee and a light breakfast before we headed out. Great value!

Clean rooms, not very big. Room enough to store your clothes and essentials, clean up and sleep. Very minimalistic, stayed 2 weeks and had no problems other than the occasional drunk neighbor

The stay was great and it was my first time staying in a motel so I was a bit nervous but it was the cleanest place I’d stayed in a while. Staff were very responsive. The only issue I had was there was a draft through the door which isn’t great but otherwise all was well and I had a warm safe place to stay

Comparison review
This was our second time staying at this motel. This trip we also booked a room for our parents,(80+) requested a 1st floor room for them. All the things we enjoy about the Iris they did not find as charming. We love the clean lines, wood floors, simple design. They prefer a hotel with carpet and heavy drapery. They never use a microwave in their hotel room, but this trip they commented that they didn't have one, so how could they heat up leftovers. Our comment to them it's in the lobby, as well as the ice machine. Things I really like about the Iris, my secure door locks, the soap dispenser on the bathroom counter (I detest melty bars of soap) the cute black make-up face towels. The Keurig style coffee maker with locally roasted coffee and reusable pod. Yes I had to give my mother a lesson in how to use a reusable pod. We really enjoy the walkable neighborhood. So many places to grab a bite to eat, or enjoy a cocktail all from local establishments. Don't miss the crystal/rock shop she runs a gorgeous establishment. Why the comparison? If you are a person who can not walk up stairs or has difficulties with sloping ground this is not the neighborhood for you. If you are a person who loves to meet new people, and enjoy local culture then stay at this charming boutique motel

Just needs a little attention
They did a wonderful job repurposing an outdated motel. Trendy and clean. There are a few little things that need attention. The fake fern plant was really dusty, and the shower curtain rod was drooping to the point that the curtain wouldn't stay closed end to end. With that being said, I would stay there again.

The people that run the property were very helpful and responded quickly when we had questions. The beds were comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay while visiting my daughter at college. It was definitely worth the price and lots of places to eat and shop close by. We will definitely stay again.

Excellent without the frills
This room was just perfect for our quick stay. I liked the keypad entry. The beds were comfortable and the towels were bright white and fluffy. The only downside was the road noise and other guests on the balcony/stairs, but we drown out the noise with the a/c unit fan. If you are a light sleeper, this could definitely be an issue.

Nice little getaway stay
Nice room for a quick weekend trip. Room was clean, accomodations were comfortable, and on call phone service got my one minor issue taken care of very quickly. Very happy with our stay.

We booked this hotel to meet a very early appointment at Vanderbilt Health in the 100 Oaks Mall, and it was extremely convenient. The rooms are simple with no frills. The remote check in worked better than most conventional hotels. The only negative is that it is located right on a busy road, and it is loud even inside the room.

This is not a hotel for a few days stay. We were surprised that there is no where to sit in our room to eat a meal or work. There is no desk or armchair in the room. Our bathroom is so small where it can be difficult to close the door. The seating area outside is also limited. We are used to boutique hotels with better quality furniture not plywood. The hotel is clean and there has been good customer service. But it is a place to sleep for one night. This is not boutique and I would not recommend it for more than one quick overnight.

Family friendly, safe place to stay
Our visit was great as usual! We are so grateful that we found you all. We make several trips to Vanderbilt hospital a month and if at all possible we always stay with you. It's convenient. It's clean,in a safe area and everyone is always friendly and willing to help in any way possible. I do have one request that came to my attention during this visit. I had to bring my elderly mother with me as she had a visit with a neurologist for an aneurysm. The corners of the bed frame are very sharp. If there is some way to round those or even put a rubber covering on the corners. That would be great! Every time she turned to go to the bed she would bump her leg on the corner and start bleeding. I had never thought about it before as this is the first time I have brought her. Thank you so much for providing us a safe family place to stay.

It was close enough to downtown Nashville if you have a car. The area was okay. Cute coffee shop down the road. The neighborhood behind the motel was pleasant. The only complaint was it very noisy since it’s on a main highway directly on the road. It served it purpose for our one night stay to meet up with friends. The price was great. The response to check in via text was prompt and friendly.

Honestly, I found the hotel room extremely clean with extra towels, plenty of soap and shampoo. The neighborhood provided a great diversity of restaurants and coffee shops. The room is large and the bed was very comfortable. With the ever increasing cost of a night’s stay this was a great option.

Unique adventure
This was definitely a different experience. Not to say it was bad, it's very wise and strategic from a business perspective. Not having a place to eat and trying to make sure my kids ate dinner without making a mess was hard and stressful. I loved that it was close to Walmart and an amazing tasting Puerto Rican restaurant. I loved that I got a text making sure all was good
