"While the room was presented as clean, the overall condition of the property feels dated, with interiors appearing quite dark and carrying an unpleasant odor. This detracts significantly from the guest experience. Service standards were inconsistent and, at times, unhelpful. For instance, I was initially instructed to collect a parcel from reception as room delivery was not available; however, a subsequent delivery was brought directly to my room without issue. This lack of consistency is concerning. Similarly, when requesting an iron and ironing board, I was asked to personally collect these from the lobby while I was staying at the top floor. This is not aligned with the level of convenience typically expected in a hotel setting and created unnecessary inconvenience. The breakfast offering was particularly disappointing. The selection was extremely limited, with notably low-quality items and even basic options such as fried eggs unavailable. Overall, the experience fell below expectations, particularly when compared to the service standards and hospitality commonly found in other hotels in Tokyo. Guests seeking comfort, consistency, and attentive service may wish to consider alternative accommodations."
