Zao Onsen Zao Shiki No Hotel

Zao Onsen Zao Shiki No Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Everything was amazing. The room was spacious and my wife and I were able to rest and recover after a long multi week trip through Japan and Korea. The only downside was that the laundry facilities were temporarily out of service during our stay. Other than that I highly recommend for a peaceful night to recover the body."

The best time to visit Nagai is during spring (late April to early May) for the cherry blossoms or autumn (October to November) for the vibrant foliage.

Spring in Nagai is particularly lovely, with the city's numerous cherry trees blooming beautifully. The best spot to experience this is at the Isazawa no Kubozakura, a magnificent ancient cherry tree that's a designated national monument. The weather is generally mild and pleasant, great for exploring the city's parks and outdoor attractions without the summer heat.

Autumn offers a spectacular display of colours as the leaves change across the region. The scenery along the Mogami River is especially picturesque during this season, and it's a great time for leisurely walks or enjoying local seasonal produce.
