"No elevator. The reception is on 2nd floor. The ground floor is with strong cigarette smell. My reservation was for a non-smoking room. However, there was cigarette smell (via A/C?).
And, I saw a man (a guest?) smoking in front of the reception desk.
The staff was friendly and willing to help. They carried my bag up to my room (on 3rd floor) and down to the ground floor.
It could be a good choose for smokers and weight lifters."

Good value for money. We stayed here for the SANIX world youth rugby tournament. Free parking, approx 15mins from Global arena stadium. Close to lots of restaurants including maccas. Make sure to purchase breakfast vouchers in advance because they do sell out. Breakfast is okay for 600yen per person. Laundry facilities available too. Free wifi is great. Tv channels are all Japanese. Pillow is hard and so are the mattresses. Overall can’t complain because saved us trekking from the city...

Recently stayed 2 nights at the Miyako. Check in and check out was pleasant and efficient. Our room was fantastic corner room. Bedding and pillows all good and shower was great. Over the road from Hakata station is an ideal location, and I won’t forget the amazing staff at the Starbucks next door. One of the friendliest I’ve been too. This was my 3td stay here and hopefully not my last.

We booked a standard double room with 1 queen bed in a non smoking room, this hotel is in a great location with Hakata station being a 5 minute walk away making it easy to get to other destinations. The room had a well designed layout, excellent powerful shower, and there was plenty of room in the breakfast area which had a noodle station. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. An excellent hotel and I would stay here again.

The hotel is in a really convenient location close to Hakata Station. Although the hotel itself is on the smaller side, the room is clean and spacious enough for a solo traveler. The staff are really efficient, welcoming and courteous. The amenities on offer are good and they have a laundry facility available for use. The breakfast on offer is good and is enough to start your day. They also have a lounge next to reception where you can eat and relax which is really great.

Loved the location 5 minute walk from the Kokura Station on the quiet North side of the station, use the escalators to get down the street level with luggage. Supermarket in Basement of the station also in Saint City building and a convenience store opposite the hotel. Saizeriya Restaurant just a 5 minute walk in the same street as the hotel with cheap hot meals and wine. Tourist Information was so helpful at the station with maps and suggestions

Room was a little worn out but actually lended to the old European style they were going for, garden view from room was pretty good but very nice from the all-day restaurant during breakfast buffer (which also had a great selection of Japanese and Western food), would be good if they had a coin laundry available rather than or additional to the pay per item wet or dry clean

We had a great stay. It’s right at the station for the airport subway, JR line and Shinkansen making it easy to get around by train.
There are a variety of convenience stores, shopping malls and restaurants close by as well.
Tours also meet up at the front of the building which is also very convenient.
Would recommend staying here

Room was a bit dated as only some of the rooms had been renovated as of May 2026. However, the room was reasonably spacious by Japanese standards and was quite comfortable. Beautiful and grand lobby. Location of the hotel was fantastic with a metro entrance and a Family Mart less than a minute away. The famous yatais unique to Fukuoka were also not far away.
