"This was my third stay at Cesar Lanzarote in three years, and this stay, likes the others, did not disappoint. The hotel is in such a lovely quite setting, and all of the guests have plenty of space to do what they would like to do, despite the hotel itself not having that may rooms. All of the staff are charming, and it is so nice that some of them remembered me from last year, including the general manager, who was so warm and welcoming. I will definitely be back."

"A fabulous stay. Resort spotless, beautiful kept grounds and peaceful and quiet. Taxi rank outside for convenience. Staff attentive and nothing is a problem for them. "We stayed here where we had booked and it was magnificent, exactly what we had booked (few issues with a leaky aircon unit, but nothing that would spoil our stay). Excellent facilities, Private pool, 3 walk in showers, washing machine, well equipped kitchen, really comfortable bed and pillows, we were in our element until 2 days after checking in when the next door villa was having the pool re-tiled, which sounds fine as we understand that maintenance is needed, but they were using an industrial angle grinder right next to the privacy screen of our pool consistently throughout the day and then started the following day at 8.30, so there was no respite. We reported to Serena Villas on day 1, I was asked if I was sure… suggesting I am an idiot, I was told they had guests checking in that day (which was untrue), and I had to make a formal complaint on day 2 to get a resolution or response which was to move me to a ‘slightly smaller’ villa on a different complex. It turned out slightly smaller meant 1 less double bedroom, significantly less living area, 1 less shower room, no roof terrace, much smaller pool and garden area which was overlooked and windy versus the private one we had booked, no individual washing machine and very poorly equipped kitchen. There was no ownership or proactivity from the company to check if my complaint was resolved. It was a real shame as if we had been able to stay peacefully in the villa we had booked we would have given 5 stars for everything."

"Best villa we have ever stayed in. The outside space and pool was amazing and well worth paying extra to have it heated. Excellent communication with Iain and also Brett and Jodie. Everything you need is close by, the supermarket and also places to eat if you dont fancy a walk to the marina. We were also able to get takeout from Carpe Diem too. Can't wait to visit again. PS I LOVED THE FAIRYLIGHTS AND VIEW AT NIGHT."
