"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage for the week of the Sea, Salts & Sail festival, getting especially fit lugging our sailing gear up and down the hill to the harbour. The cottage was a cool retreat in the heat and very spacious and the kitchen well-equipped. The bedrooms were spotless. We thought that parking would be an issue but it really wasn't (except on Sunday with the church services). The Kings Arms is very handy for a convenient meal out,"

"The property was spotlessly clean. While it is on the smaller side, it is perfectly formed and packed with absolutely everything you could possibly need. Rob and Esme were wonderful hosts and incredibly helpful throughout our stay.The highlight of the property has to be the balcony; the views of the sea and the picturesque village of Mousehole were simply lovely. Just a quick heads-up: the bedroom does have low ceilings in places, so you'll need to watch your head.The location couldn't be better. It sits right in the "sweet spot" of the village (perfectly placed just before navigating a car through the narrow streets becomes a real challenge!), and having a dedicated parking space was a massive bonus.Mousehole itself is fantastic, with great restaurants and cosy cafes. We won't hesitate to book again the next time we visit Cornwall!"

"The property is lovely, and very convenient as it's close to the harbour and has a parking space. But we had several mix ups over the booking, as the owner and Vrbo seem to have different rules about availability (the owner claims to do only Saturday to Saturday), and we had to change our original booking. The garden that appears in the photos does not seem to be accessible (wooden door with a combination). And we were offered bread, eggs, and butter which we accepted but did not get. (We did get milk and a Prosecco!) Shower gel would have been helpful as we had to go to buy some."

"Wonderful location near Mousehole harbor, within east walking distance to restaurants, parking, and hiking trails. Lovely and comfortable property with well-provisioned kitchen. Host was easy to communicate with and knowledgeable about the area."

"Lovely stay in the coastal village of Mousehole, the house was well equipped and comfortable. I would say that the bed sheets were a little unbreathable, not sure if it's the polyblend, but otherwise it had a decent shower and great kitchen, dining area. And access to Mousehole and Penzance was easy! Loved the location, getting our small van into the parking space was a little tricky up the hill, but we managed it."
