"Staff were really nice!
The window in our room was too high, can’t really see what’s outside. The room felt very small because of how the windows were positioned. "
"Great for an overnight stay. No free parking need to park at nearby car park. Breakfast (full english) is excellent. The room is basic. Good location (5min walk) if you need to catch a ferry to isle of scilly. Within walking distance to town centre."
"Pros:
- Very Clean
- Spacious Flat
- Very Smart Kitchen
- Comfortable Bedding
- Very Modern Bathroom
- Close to the town and Sea
- provided us Fresh Bread, Bacon and Better
Cons:
- This is a basement Flat and should have been listed as one
- It can get rather noisy upstairs with banging and a dog running around
- If you are afraid of Dogs, although the connecting door upstairs oppsoite the bathroom is locked, there was a few times the dog was heard near the door.

The Queens Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Mark and Karen are fantastic hosts. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with lots of extras provided. The breakfast foods prepared by Karen are delicious!"
"Right on the harbor in charming Mousehole, we had a front row seat on Cornish life--people swimming, kids jumping off the harbor wall, and walking on the SW Coastal Path. Cooked breakfast was excellent and hearty, and there were a variety of god restaurants in Mousehole and nearby Newlyn. Our room was quiet and well appointed with a spacious bathroom. The room could get warm so the fan was appreciated. One night we parked in the car park closest (about 200 meters, 5BP for 24 hours) and one night found free parking just outside town on the street. Delightful!"
"Winslow Cottage was a beautifully renovated little house and very clean and comfortable. We were able to park in the long stay carpark 2 minutes walk away then walk to everything we wanted, including restaurants, pubs, a small supermarket and buses to Mousehole and to Lands End. Penzance was at most a twenty minute walk along the promenade, but also an option by bus. We had views of the harbour and St Michael’s Mount from the upstairs windows (or a short walk away). Mark and Fiona were really fast at answering questions, gave great advice on things to do and places to eat, and even left us a welcome hamper with wine and biscuits, as well as tea, coffee and milk. Our only regret was that we could only stay two nights! The bedroom and bathroom are up a narrow flight of stairs but it’s an easy climb for most people. "

"Lovely stay at the Sandpiper in Mousehole. Everything was as expected. Property clean and well kept. Beds very comfortable. Beatiful views and easy parking directly outside property. We were very lucky with the Spring weather so managed to visit much of the area. The property is situated on a steep hill so need to be physically fit if you are walking."
"Apologies for the late review. The cottage was just perfect for the three of us (my wife, 18 year-old son), and our golden retriever. The place is charming and well maintained and very comfortable. The garden was especially lovely and we appreciated the cream tea that was waiting for us when we arrive. "
"Very convenient and suited us well. There is a slight smell of damp however on entry to the lounge.
You might consider having a lighter weight quilt in the summer but that is only a refinement. All the basics are excellent. "
