Lovely friendly greeting on arrival. We had to leave early the next morning for my son's gymnastics comp and were told that breakfast would be waiting for us at 6.30, this was unexpected as breakfast is not usually served until 8.00. Very secluded cabin in the middle of the Huon Forests less than 1 hour from Hobart. Clean, comfortable and very relaxing. Access via 5km gravel road with some steep sections. Waking trails and magnificent forest scenery. No 240V electricity and therefore no TV or WiFi, but gas fridge and cooking facilities all adequate. Stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I defy anyone not to feel at home when you are always greeted by your first name. May be the building isn't in the first flush of...
