Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Mountain Hall Watta?
The best time to visit Mountain Hall Watta is during the dry season, which runs from December to March and from June to September.

During these months, you'll experience less rainfall and plenty of sunshine, making it ideal for exploring the tea plantations and enjoying outdoor activities. The weather is generally warm and pleasant, providing comfortable conditions for sightseeing and trekking.

For those planning to spend time outdoors, particularly hiking or visiting the tea estates, the period between December and March offers the most consistent dry weather. This is superb for couples or solo travellers looking to take in the views and enjoy the natural beauty without the interruption of heavy showers.

If your visit falls between June and September, you can still expect good weather. While there might be occasional short showers, they typically don't last long and often bring a refreshing coolness.
