Search Mountain Camp hotels

The best time to go to Mountain Camp is during the cooler, drier months from May to September.

During this period, the weather is consistently pleasant, with clear skies and comfortable temperatures, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking and exploring the national parks. You'll find that the trails are in excellent condition, and wildlife spotting is often at its peak. This is also when many of the local markets and outdoor events are in full swing, adding to the holiday experience.

Couples looking for a romantic getaway will appreciate the crisp mornings and evenings, great for enjoying a cosy fireside dinner or a leisurely walk through the scenic landscapes. The reduced humidity also makes for more comfortable exploration of the area's many lookouts and waterfalls.

Families travelling with children will find the milder weather much more enjoyable for longer days out.
