"Great house - great host"

"We stayed at this house for 5 nights over Christmas and would have stayed for longer if we could have. The house is in a peaceful, beautiful setting on a property shared by a couple of good-natured geese and some chickens, and having fresh eggs was a bonus. The large kitchen is well equipped and enabled us to cook a 3 course Christmas dinner for the family, which we enjoyed on the wrap-around verandah. "This is a true country gem. It is in a peaceful and tranquil countryside setting, yet still only 15 minutes from town. Plentiful wildlife including birds and roos. House was lovely and new, though no AC. Wood fired heat in living area. Kitchen was well equipped, lots of games and puzzles and even a few movies. The owner left a bunch of delicious apples for us too! "

"Close to National Parks with lots of seperate spaces. It was clean and very comfortable. With two wood burners and super warm bedding we were cozy on our stay in winter. It had everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay there again."
