I'm only an intermediate skier so I left my skies down the bottom and walked the final 100m from the Summit chair lift. You can ski blue and green runs all the way down from there. It's a lovely view, especially at sunset. :)

The Abom is the worst hotel in the best location. There are a number of other hotels and lodges around to choose from, though this one is really in the best spot for accessing ski school. Everything else about the Abom is terrible. The blinds were broken and we couldn't open or close them. The doors and windows allowed cold wind to blow into the room. The bathroom tiles were chipped and broken. The bathroom sink was broken in the middle. The shower was full of mould. There was a kettle, but you couldn't fill it in the sink, as it didn't fit under the tap. There were only two powerpoints, one that had the fridge connected, so you had to disconnect the fridge to make tea. The other was over the sink, so to charge our 4 devices, they had to be on the bathroom sink. There was never anyone at reception. All up terrible place but a great location.

Excellent location opposite Mercedes chair. The hotel is very run down and tired. We expected better for the price! Proper ski racks would be good in the drying room. Great staff on reception made up for some of it. Very helpful and welcoming.

Great location. My family and I were in a quad bunk room. Bunks were so squeaky that we hardly slept. Our room was right near reception so we’re also woken by noise from guests coming in the front door all night. Drying room was not very dry. Showers were great though!

Fantastic value for money, and while the rooms were basic, they were well appointed and comfy. Loved the bistro and pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food-dinner was great. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.

Good for walks and hikes. Better to come in winter else might be a ghost town :-( Nevertheless, the restaurant serves great food, especially chicken parmesan and spaghetti carbonara! Also, breakfast packs provided in the room were real handy :-)

Terrible,dirty,overpriced,no tv remote and zero updates since the 80’s.Couple This with an unmanned reception and rude staff in the bistro it wasn’t a pleasant stay and I will be chasing compensation for not receiving what I paid for.

Good location, facilities as advertised

Great location but we finished a day of skiing before 5 pm and there was no one at reception. There's a number to call and luckily one of us had a local SIM card. The staff came few minutes later but then had trouble accessing the computer to get into our reservation and print some forms... Staff was apologetic but forms could have been prepared in advance if they wanted to lock access to computer... Room was basic and per photos. Stayed one night only
