"We stayed on a full-board package and were very disappointed with our experience.
There was no buffet service during our stay. Instead, guests were given exactly the same set menu for both lunch and dinner every day throughout our five-day stay. Several menu items were frequently unavailable, including items such as Caesar salad and chips. On one occasion, we were told that pizza was unavailable, yet after speaking with the manager it suddenly became available, which made the dining experience feel inconsistent and frustrating. This did not meet our expectations of a full-board holiday.
We also experienced ants in our room on arrival. After reporting the issue, the room was sprayed, but dead ants and spray residue were left behind. We contacted reception again as there were still live ants present and requested a room change several times. After waiting a number of hours, we were eventually moved to another room.
Both the gym and lounge were closed for renovation during our stay. These facilities were unavailable, yet this was not disclosed before booking. Guests should be informed in advance when advertised facilities are closed, whether on the hotel’s website or through booking platforms.
We raised our concerns during our stay but no compensation or meaningful resolution was offered. The combination of the limited food offering, room issues and unavailable facilities significantly affected our stay and did not provide the experience we expected from a full-board holiday"
