The room was not clean although the location was great and the amenity was all there as advertised. However, the staff never responded to my repeated questions. The noise level from the street was great.

It was a great stay. Very near to Notre Dame Basilica. A lot of nearby restaurants including the one just below us. It’s close to Chinatown and Metro Station too. A parking spot was assigned to us. Hosts were easy to reach out. Place was very clean. Towels, sheets and pillows were very clean. The only problem we had was the stairs was rather high for seniors like us coz we were on the 2nd floor. Washer and dryer were available with 2 bathrooms.

It's at a very convinient location, just right behind the notre-dame. But it's a little noisy at night because it's right above a bar and it's difficult to find a parking spot nearby.

A nice modern apartment close to St Paul Street for restaurants and bars. Car park Indigo next door is cheaper than the one on the opposite side. In room 203 the internet is more like 20 Mbps not 500 as stated on the website. View of a fire escape. No elevator.

It was a great location and beautiful place; unfortunately, the dishes were still dirty in the dishwasher when we arrived. It was very hard to open and close the entrance door; mother in-law was unable to; because it was rubbing on the floor. And you could here everything from outside; it felt like the windows were open. As well; the plug on the wall where the oven was and the toaster had no power. But overall; it was beautiful place. m And i would consider it again. And as mentioned; perfect location.

Perfect location. Cozy unit. Very clean. Easy check-in. Do not use the parking lot to the right of the building on the left...hwy robbery!! $75/night and must move car during the day and leave keys over night. Use the lot on the right $30/24 hrs allows in/out.

Being situated in Old Montreal is definitely a huge asset. The architecture of the area is awesome! We appreciated the peace and quiet of this particular boutique hotel as well as the pleasant staff. Initially, the stairs were somewhat of a challenge for an older person but after awhile it became easier. I would highly recommend.

Awesome place :)

We really enjoyed staying here! The downside is obviously the elevator not existing, but other than that, awesome location and awesome price :) I do wish the communication was a bit faster, but it wasn't to the point where it was super unconvenient. If you're a budget traveller, this is the spot!

The property was very responsive through phone when needed and the location was stellar. Parking was extremely close in lot, which is pay as you go through an app and reasonably priced. The size of the room was extremely spacious, and comfortable. Would certainly consider rebooking with this location for future stays in Montreal.

Great location. Walking to everything in old Montreal. Bed set up is a little weird: mattress on box spring but box spring is sitting right on the floor so the box spring is very dirty.

No elevator. So much traffic, when leaving took 45 mins to reach a block away from hotel. Very busy area. Would not recommend for a family trip. If you're looking for loud, fast and a party or two. It's a good spot.

Saint François Xavier was an amazing property. We stayed in the heart of old Montreal. There is no reception and it was self check in but the process was easy to follow. Loved how large the place was. Easily big enough to fit four people. I didn’t fly until 6pm and they were nice to let me leave my items in The office until I needed to go.

Very nice hotel, it is a two story apartment with 2 washroom and 2 bedrooms. Lower level is living, dining room, kitchen and washroom. Upper floor with 2 bedrooms, washroom and laundry (washer dryer). Very clean with hardwood flooring. Kitchen comes with pans and pods, plates and tools. The only thing you need is your own oil and spices. The service is great, although there is no reception, you can just leave message to them, they will provide you all access and info including the parking info by text message. Not even mention it is locating in the core of old Montreal. Price is good. Noted that there might be some broken hardware here and there, I don’t mind because I always bring a screwdrivers when travel. I cam easily go ahead and complain about it but hey, I am on vacation after all. I considered this as one kind of experience.

Good but not great

It was fine. The unit itself was spacious. There was no wifi when we got there, a quick call to the property had that fixed. The unit itself is a bit run down. Needs a paint job and possibly just a thorough look over at things. The beds are comfortable and clean. The kitchen has everything you would need to make any meal. Windows are paper thin, if you are a light sleeper, ask for an inner facing room as the street can be loud at night.

Great location, comfortable but needs improvement

The overall apartment is very nice and comfortable. In a great location , very close to the center of Old pot! Located on a Beautiful cobble stone street, steps away to Café A few things to note. The kitchen does not have enough dishes or silverware. There are a few things that need to be fixed in the apartment. Also there is no elevator. No staff on duty, there is a desk as you enter with a bell to ring for service, we tried 4 different times and no one ever came out to assist.

It was a walk up with no elevator, which was not made clear in the details. We chose this place because it also offered parking, but that was not the case. Public parking is available down the street and you can only book a spot 24 hrs at a time. Beautiful condo but the only available window looked out onto a fire escape that was badly littered. Use of scented air freshener was overpowering, not good for those with sensitivities. Otherwise convenient to all downtown tourist spots, close to waterfront and lots of restaurants.

No communications from hotel after emailing several times about issues. No soundproofing so very loud for sleeping- I could actually hear people walking on the street below as well and talking and every car that drove by (we had 2nd floor room with windows onto the street).Also restaurant plays loud music til 10pm which you will easily hear. And as windows not insulated there was a draft from window onto the bed. Had to find extension cord for the TV & then it wouldn't go past the 1st screen (in french) & we couldn't watch anything. There is a nice looking kitchenette with a small amount of items- but only 1 coffee cup! The apartment door seems very insecure and has definitely been kicked in several times- the frame was loose and the door had a small lock which has been repaired (not even a deadbolt). I would not stay here again. It is a good location in Old Montreal and was easy to get into the building and our room as they emailed me the door codes. The space is laid out well but obviously they didn't put effort into the finishing touches- several areas of paint peeling, bad repair work & water damage in bathroom & about 9 different light switches but couldn't get the light to work by the door or several of the ceiling lights. I'm a pretty basic person but this was not a good stay. Had they responded to any of my emails and moved us to a different room maybe our stay would have been better for us. Find somewhere else to stay.
