"If you are going to visit Ragusa (and you should), this is absolutely the best place to stay. There is no beating the view and their "secret staircase" saved us many extra steps when walking to the Ibla, which we did numerous times. We had a car with us and found it easy to drive to the hotel and find parking. The gentleman running the place was great. He helped us with recommendations and served us a lovely breakfast every morning. A note about Ragusa, the Ibla are is what you come for, but don't miss Ragusa Superiore. We spent a fun day walking around the more modern city. Some great architecture to see over there too."

"A delightful stay in Vittoria wine country. Relaxing, great food, friendly staff. The room was wonderful. They provided fresh drinking water every day and some fresh fruit in the room. I thought that was a nice touch. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening with one of their fabulous aperitivo cocktails and watching the cats play. The dinner was a fixed menu. It was more food than I needed, but it was all delicious. We opted to have dinner there both nights of our stay. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. So many delicious things to try - pastries, salads, cheeses, charcuteries, fruits. The location is a nice jumping off point for exploring the small towns in the area and tasting wine of the region."

"Centrally located, quiet, safe and comfortable, this is a great place to stay when visiting Ragusa. The rooms are beautifully remodeled and located within UNESCO buildings along a pedestrian streetscape. The communal grounds are amazing with beautiful gardens, a great pool (although unheated), and views of the surrounding area. A very nice breakfast is served in their communal breakfast room overlooking the gardens. The main town square is just a short walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking and driving in this hill town can be a little tricky but street parking was fairly easy to find adjacent to the hotel. Highly recommended."
