A lovely and simple property next to a beautiful garden with very kind and courteous staff. Simple rooms, very clean and steeped in local history. Don’t miss the church next door- or the crypt downstairs.

Comfortable Stay in Ragusa

Comfortable room. Hot water was a slow to come up in the shower, otherwise the bathroom was good. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We spent a beautiful day in Ragusa Ibla! The hotel was fantastic at a very convenient price. The views from the room were unique. Looks like if you go 400 years back!! Thanks

The access to reach to the airport was quite adventurous via narrow streets with just enough space to drive a smallest car (Fiat Panda) which I enjoyed (thanks to my driving experience in India). The hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was modern and looks like remodeled with spacious area. The surrounding of the hotel is great with an opening to a public park which is very nice to walk around. All in all good experience.

Posto magico, incantevole.

Un posto magico e meraviglioso. Un piacere immenso aver potuto trascorrere qualche giorno in questo Hotel dotato di tutti i comfort ed una vista strepitosa sul paesaggio circostante. Comodo e centrale per tutte le attività inerenti Ragusa Ibla. Da ripetere, presto!

The property is unique because it was a former convent attached to a lovely garden, very tastefully refurbished in a modern way that the Italians are so good at doing. Super quiet, beautiful views fabulous breakfast. Friendly staff.

Ben ristrutturato il convento mantenendone le caratteristiche minimalista, la posizione incantevole. Servizi inesistenti (non siamo riusciti ad avere una camomilla in tre giorni di soggiorno, siamo andati a comprare le bustine al supermercato per la verità ci hanno fornito teiera e acqua calda), pulizia molto approssimativa (all'arrivo abbiamo trovato per terra sotto il comodino due lentine a contatto), colazione scarsissima e di pessima qualità. Il personale gentile, poveretti, cercavano di fare il meglio con il nulla che avevano a disposizione. Esperienza da non ripetere.

Wonderful oasis of calm.

Stayed at this Hotel for four nights. Hotel is set in some lovely public gardens at the top of the main street. Bus stop is outside garden gates. The Hotel is very peaceful , almost as if it is still a Monastery. Rooms are small but you have to bear in mind that these rooms were once the Monks cells. However the rooms are still very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I had a triple room with one double and one twin. The bathroom was quite large with a good shower , lovely fluffy towels and a good hairdryer for the ladies. There was also a mini bar and a tv. Breakfast was the usual Scilian fare of breads , cheeses and pastries, tea , coffee etc: and was perfectly adequate. I did'nt use the restaurant so cannot comment. There is also a very nice outside bar area. Wifi available throughout hotel.The Hotels decor and soft furnishings are very understated and in keeping with a former monastery. Staff polite and helpful. A wonderful Hotel that I found to have a very serene and calming effect. Would definately recommend this Hotel.
