"This is a great location in Siena, close to all the sights. Just a note that there is no elevator, but the front desk man kindly carried my luggage up to the 2nd floor which was great. My only challenge was that the room was very warm (25.3C), and there was no working fan to move air around. I did ask at the front desk, and apparently the system had not been activated, and the AC was not yet running. Therefore I had to have my windows open all night and there was road noise. My friend had a lovely room on the first floor at the back of the building with a garden patio and we enjoyed that. They have an excellent breakfast. I would stay here again but would make sure they had fans or AC in the room."

"The property is beautiful, but not even close to half the size of what it looks in pictures and very different. There’s actually nothing much to do except wine tour considering it’s very far from Florence and the cabs are very expensive to go and back. We had to wait more than an hour to get a drink and chips in restaurant as there was nobody there between lunch and dinner hour. So if you get late for lunch, there’s nothing to eat until dinner hours except coffee. It would have been nice for place to have at least some sandwiches or snack to grab between meal hours, considering there are not any restaurants nearby. The place can be a good idea if only you want some quiet time away from city. I do not recommend it if you have children or want to do activities!"

"We had the loveliest stay in Hotel Casolare! From the minute we arrived the staff were warm and welcoming and couldn't be more helpful! We stayed in the Cipresso apartment and it was perfect for the 4 of us staying with a well equipped kitchenette and a lovely patio area to sit out on! All very clean and fresh. We had a beautiful meal in the restaurant on our first night and breakfasts were lovely with plenty of selection and so fresh! Our favourite part was the bruschetta bar with lots of selection of toppings, all gorgeous! The pool area was clean and peaceful and we were able to get drinks from the bar to have there during the day. This was our second time staying here after a stay in 1998 when the hotel was just opened and it had been somewhere we always wanted to come back to! We will definitely be back again xx"

"This hotel had everything and more. We made use of the terrace with a lovely, extensive breakfast served to us by room service. The whole hotel is like a museum. It really is a beautiful space. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience."

"Hotel located in a gorgeous mountain settings, the views absolutely stunning, the food was ok, fresh and decent choices on the menu. Room was very clean, but moldy smell was still in the room. The service was excellent. Spa i was not impressed at all. Chlorine smell inside the facility, average massage treatment, would not recommend it. Outdoor pool has breath taking views, in the summer time it will be the best place to spend your mornings or evenings to watch Sunrise and Sunsets. Overall I do recommend to visit this place for at least a few days."
