Only 3 km from Montepulciano lies this pleasant vacation home in an idyllic side valley. This former medieval mill offers today over three levels generous space for vacation guests. From the kitchen-living room and the fireplace room on the ground floor you enter directly into the garden seating area in front of it. On the 1st floor, which can be entered directly from the side of the former mill basin, there is a second central kitchen as well as bedrooms with bathroom, another bedroom with bathroom on the 2nd floor. The furnishings are functional in rustic Tuscan style. Crib on request. The house is adjacent to ITS971. Nearby destinations: Pienza (15 km) and the picturesque Orcia Valley, the warm thermal baths of Bagno Vignoni (25 km). In the medieval hill town of Montepulciano you will find trattorias, bars and stores of all kinds. Unpaved access road

Potentially beautiful house in nice valley

Well situated house with potention. But: Very very poorly equipped: outdoor furniture, wardrobes in bedrooms, and especially kitchen: almost no pots and pans, oven with no roasting pan, dishwasher out of use (they simply announced it...). Incorrect settlement on leaving: Following the contract electricity was included; they charged 1 euro per day per person (for electricity and water). Following the contract gas was to be payed 10 euro per cubic meter; they wanted to charge us almost the double...

Het huis ligt op een prachtige rustige plek, beetje lastig te vinden in eerste instantieAlles is wel erg minimaal en basis qua voorzieningen. De keukenspullen kunnen nog wel wat worden aangevuld (bijv. broodmes, snijmessen, vergiet, kommetjes, etc.)De bedden zijn op zich wel prima, gelukkig niet te zacht. Meer hangers om je kleding op te hangen zou fijn zijn en ook legplankenHet is fijn dat er meerdere badkamers zijn maar de douchekoppen zijn aan vervanging toe of een nacht in de azijn. In 1 badkamer is een bad met een douche maar geen houder als je staand in het bad zou willen douchenWat ook wel erg handig zou zijn, zijn horren voor de ramen en deuren. Het is het platteland en stikt er van de muggen, vliegen en andere insectenDe meubels om buiten te zitten is voor een huis van max 7 personen wel enorm minimaalEen fijne tafel om bijv. buiten te eten zou fijn zijn. Zo ook goede ligstoelen en zitstoelen met kussens is wel het minimale wat je zou verwachtenEr was ook geen barbecue oid wat wel op de lijst staatWij hadden geen kinderen bij ons maar de speel dingen (volgens mij een schommel etc.) ontbrakenHet gras stond behoorlijk hoog maar in de eerste week is Fernando drukdoende geweest met het weer begaanbaar makenDaarnaast zijn de ENORME kosten voor de schoonmaak echt absurd. Zeker ook omdat het oké was qua schoonmaak maar voor zoveel geld kan ‘t beterHuis met veel potentie maar verdiend nog wel wat aandacht, ligt mooi centraal voor uitstapjes
