"DeHart Cabin was perfect for our stay. We made a last minute decision to take a motorcycle ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway and wanted to stay close. Lucky us this gem was available. "The pictures don’t do this home justice. It is absolutely beautiful with everything you could possibly need. The setting is exactly what we needed. We felt like we were the only two people in the mountains. The night sky was splendid especially for seeing the Milky Way and the meteor shower. It comes this week every year. "Deer Runs is a lovely cabin surrounded by forest. The tall hard wood trees fill the air with the best smell. I did not want to leave. I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the best sleep on a most wonderful bed. The great window by table was mesmerizing. There was so much to see. And, I love the sound of water. It was everywhere . I took my hiking sticks and this 63 year old went down the trail to the river. Steep but, I did it fine. This place seems magical. "
